*Updated November 16, 2020*

As cases continue to rise in Washington state, we remind all of our patients that we require them to wear a mask and practice social distancing in our South Sound Physical Therapy clinics. These new guidelines do not affect our clinics, as we will continue to be open and operating as we have been throughout the pandemic ensuring proper scheduling around capacity restrictions and social distance guidelines. We are using the CDC's recommended cleaning and sanitizing protocols, and ensuring social distancing throughout the day between patients and staff at all of our neighborhood locations.

If you have any questions or concerns due to the rise in cases and how your care or treatment plan is impacted, we invite you to call your clinic.

Dear South Sound Physical Therapy Patients,

With the evolving news regarding COVID-19 in our area we wanted to inform you that patient health and safety is a top priority for us here at South Sound Physical Therapy. With that said, all South Sound Physical Therapy clinics will remain open at this time. If you are healthy, and have appointments scheduled with us, please continue to be seen by your provider.

Our goal is to partner with our patients to achieve overall wellness. In light of the current COVID-19 concerns, we want to take this opportunity to update you on the precautions that we are taking at our clinics to ensure your (and our) health, safety, and well-being.

We are following updates regularly from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local government agencies regarding any updates and protocols. South Sound Physical Therapy's Policy and Procedure for Infection Control COVID-19 has been updated as of 3/16/2020, and will updated daily upon new information to conform to the requirements set by the CDC, and our local and federal governments. Rest assured South Sound Physical Therapy's number one priority is everyone's health and safety. We continue to take extra precautions daily to ensure the cleanliness of our facilities.

How can you prevent from becoming Infected ?

The CDC recommends:

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

• Stay home when you are sick.

• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

• CDC does not recommend that people who are well wear a face mask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.

• Face masks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others.

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

If you answer YES to any of the below question please stay home (you will not be charged for your cancellation) and urge you to reach out to your Primary Health Physician if symptoms persist.

1.) Have you had a fever in the last 24 hours?

2.) Do you have respiratory symptoms like a cough or shortness of breath?

3.) Have you had close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19?
